Following the success of the 2015 Magical Winter Lights festival in Houston, the 2016 Magical Winter Lights festival was officially opened at Gulf Greyhound Park in Houston, Texas on November 18, 2016. Magical Winter Lights ran for a span of nearly 2 months, including American holidays such Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and New Year’s Eve, and was divided into five fascinating themed sections, including Magical Wonderland, Landmarks of the World, Dino Fun Zone, Man and Nature, Mystery of the East. Sichuan Salient Cultural Trade Co., Ltd and Magical Winter Lights LLC worked together to bring Chinese intangible cultural heritage, Chinese acrobatics and other cultural performances, as well as many other new interactive projects, including the Dragon chase and Dinosaur fossil archeology. Visitors could not only see the lantern exhibits, but find new and exciting forms of entertainment through the festival.
